Blissful view in harmony with nature
Beautifully located on the coast of Funen, Hotel Nyborg Strand is one of Denmark’s largest hotel and conference centers. The hotel is surrounded by forest, expansive gardens, and a stunning sea view – a natural setting that serves as an enduring source of inspiration for the hotel’s outdoor spaces. At the heart of one of the hotel’s outdoor transformations is the shared terrace, where Cane-line’s Bliss chairs in dark green are placed around long matching Bliss tables, creating a welcoming space for guests to gather, connect, and enjoy the outdoors. This same chair is also found on every private balcony, where it's paired with the lightweight and versatile On-the-move side tables, offering guests a quiet moment of luxury with panoramic views.
The deep green hue of the Bliss chair was chosen deliberately – it complements the natural surroundings and strengthens the hotel’s visual identity, grounded in nature and tranquility. In front of the hotel’s historic restaurant area, The Tower Hall, guests can enjoy a delightful meal seated in the comfort of the timeless Breeze chairs. With their elegant yet casual design, the chairs are a perfect fit for the serene coastal setting, offering views of the waves on the Great Belt.
Rooted in Funen with sustainable values
The choice of Cane-line was no coincidence. For Hotel Nyborg Strand, it was more than just design - it was about finding a partner who shared the hotel’s aesthetic vision and core values. As a company with deep roots on the island of Funen, the hotel places great importance on supporting local businesses, and that shared foundation made the collaboration especially meaningful. Sustainability also played a key role. The hotel appreciated that we took all packaging back with us after installation - a small but meaningful gesture that reflects the thoughtfulness and environmental awareness embedded in the spirit of the place. This collaboration has never been just about furniture. It’s about creating atmospheres rooted in nature, aesthetics, and care. Here, our design philosophy meets Hotel Nyborg Strand’s ambition: to create outdoor spaces that exist in visual harmony with their natural surroundings - serene settings that invite guests to unwind in an atmosphere offering a sense of calm, comfort, and connection.
